Nea Exfrut S.A.
Founded in 1956 by Christos Sextos with main activity of packing and exporting grapes and cherries to the German market. 1991 marks the year of transitioning to the second generation of Nea Exfrut S.A. Dimitrios and Georgios, sons of Christos Sextos, took the lead in the company and expanded it by investing in new buildings, modern machinery and introducing new products. Consequently, Nea Exfrut S.A. continues its operation as a third-generation family company guided by the same core values.

Three Generations of Expertise!
1956
The Beginning
The year that Exfrut was founded by Christos Sextos. Father and grandfather of the current owners, Dimitrios, Georgios, Christos and Christos Sextos.
1958
German Market
Since 1958, Nea Exfrut focuses only on the most demanding markets.
1991
Nea Exfrut S.A.
Dimitris and Georgios Sextos changed the company form to societe anonyme named “NEA EXFRUT”. The company has this form until now
1999
New Packing House
Nea Exfrut expanded by rebuilding the packing house in Skydra based on the newest food safety standards.
2000
Electronic Sorting Machine
To pursue higher quality standards the company installed an electronic calibrator for stone fruits, citrus and kiwis. This was the first of the 3 electronic calibrators the company owns at the moment for round fruits.
2006
Cherry Sorting Line
Having a history in packing cherries from the local area, Nea Exfrut S.A. proceeded in installing a mechanical size calibrator for cherries.
2016
Rizo Packing House
The high demand of Nea Exfrut products led to the construction of a new packing house of 11.000 m2 with 4.000m2 of cold storage. The total capacity of the cold storage ranges from 8.000 to 10.000 tones.
2021
Electronic Cherry Line
In summer of 2021 Nea Exfrut installed its first electronic sizer for cherries. The capacity of the company doubled while having a better-quality output since the sizer eliminates the defected cherries with accuracy of >95%
